My name is Dr. Shalena Havens LAc, and I am a National & State Licensed Acupuncturist in Historic-Downtown Milwaukie OR  (2025 se Jefferson St, Milwaukie OR 97222).

I was introduced to Acupuncture in 1994 and started working in a clinic as an “apprentice” in 1995.  I have a Bachelors of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Masters of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland Oregon (2000).  I completed my Doctorate of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from the Pacific Col. of Oriental Medicine, in San Diego, California (2019). I have been practicing Acupuncture, in the Milwaukie/SE Portland community since 2005.

Regular Health Insurance–  I am paneled with just about every insurance company that offers Alternative/Complementary Medicine. (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, HealthNet, Kaiser/CHP, Lifewise, MODA/ODS, Oregon Health Plan (need a referral for some conditions), PacificSource (out of network), Providence, United Health/UMR).

Self Pay-  Base Acupuncture (50 min treatment) $65 or muscular problems (55 min) $95-130  Sliding scale discounts are available upon individual basis.)
